Abel Clark, the CEO of Cision now acquires Brandwatch for a whopping $450 million. The sole motive is to enhance the company’s reach at a far better level by using the expertise of the companies.
The financial journey of Brandwatch started in 2006 when the company raised funding from angel investors. Then later in 2010, another funding round of $1.5 million was raised by the company from Durrants which is a PR and marketing firm along with a Series A round raised from Nauta Capital.

Series B Round was raised at $22 million in 2014, funded by highland Europe. In 2015 its Series C round raised $33 million which was led by Partech Ventures.
